  • 1 rustic bread bun or roll
  • several slices roasted turkey
  • balsamic syrup
  • extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • 1-2 oz blue cheese, such as Valdeon or Cabrales

Cut rolls

Cut rolls horizontally, and toast under the broiler until lightly browned.


Warm the turkey slices. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on cut sides of roll. Place turkey on toasted roll. Crumble blue cheese over turkey, and place under broiler until cheese begins to melt. Remove from oven and drizzle balsamic syrup over top. Serve warm.
